Bad news: all I know about eating well, not just for weight loss but for overall health has gone out the window since my life became a stressful mess of.... Well stress, two kids, and have I mentioned stress? Not an excuse thats just how it is right now.
Also another BIG part....I hate cooking. So we've started to eating a LOT of processed foods and quick unsatisfying meals. My 3 year old is super picky and my partner doesn't like the same things that I do. But I've talked to my partner and I've told him things need to change. I'm starting to feel physically sick from the way I've been eating. We are on food stamps so I can't go to the natural food stores but there is a pretty good selection at my regular grocery stores and I can shop trader joes.
Wow ok so long story short I need blog suggestions on meal ideas, recipes, meal plans for families...etc. I want to slowly weed out all processed foods from our diet. Which I know means I'll have to cook which I'm not exactly excited about but for better overall health... Well ok. I love healthy food with great flavor. We are meat eaters but also enjoy vegetarian food. My daughter and I were vegetarian for about a year before I got pregnant with my son and decided I had to have tri-tip or I was going to die! Lol!
I'm a visual person so recipes with pictures are a must. Thank you for your suggestions!!!
Oh and one last thing any beginner veggie garden blogs would be great. Especially ones aimed for someone who knows nothing about gardening. We have two areas which we can plant in but I know nothing and have little time. However I think it's time we start using the resources we have.
