Do you already work out at all?  I am NOT a professional by ay means, but I would say that working out in general and getting healthier and fit can only help you in your TTC efforts.

If you are starting from 0 activity and just beginning, I would recommend (to anyone, even if they aren't ttc) to take it slow and listen to your body.  Start with easy, natural movements like walking and build from there.  When you join most gyms there is a "intro" meeting with a trainer with a tour for free and I would absolutely learn all you can from them about where to start.  If you can afford it, a session or two to get a workout program started with a trainer would be helpful.

My favorite things are walking, weights, and yoga. I'd walk, take a yoga class, and read "The New Rules of Lifting For Women" to learn about weight training.

And there isn't anything I can think of in any of that that would be contraindicated with TTC!

good luck and blessings!
