cervix PP infertile cycles

does the cervix still have signs of a normal cycle (high, soft, open, low, closed etc.) during infertile PP cycles before you get your period?

(Cycles before your period... ??)  Mine moves some but it doesn't get soft from what I've felt.  Since ovulation can happen before your first PP period, I think if you really had soft/open/high you should assume your body is trying to ovulate again and your period might be on its way.  If you were in the completely infertile stages you might not have any significant day to day changes.

OK yeah I guess it doesn't make sense to say cycle, I just mean whatever it is my body does for the many months before my cycle returns, I was wondering if my cervix would still be showing changes.

Your CP would move toward fertile (high, soft, open) as your body attempts to ovulate.  This could happen many times before you actually do manage to O.  About 2/3 of women will O prior to their first pp bleed, but only about half of those (so 1/3 total) will have a fertile length LP.  But depending on your genes, breastfeeding, your baby's needs, environmental factors, etc. it could happen soon or it could be over a year or more before this starts to happen.  Personally I would focus more on CF changes as an indicator of returning fertility.  You can check out the CTA thread for more pointers on charting your cycles prior to your first ppAF.   There are a few ladies that use the CBE fertility monitor and the MM to catch that first O.
