Mine is scheduled for next Wednesday. We did the early screening at a facility that has an amazing machine. She said at the time (though only 13 weeks) that for that stage, it was looking more girl, but obviously couldn't be sure at that stage. Had an ultrasound because of some concerns about 2 weeks ago and they said girl  : )   It wasn't the best machine, though so I'm really looking forward to getting a good look at te placenta, cord, and base of the cord on the baby...oh, and double checking between the legs, lol

Just got home from the ultrasound. Dh is ecstatic it's not twins. Just 1 wee baby, gender still unknown. Baby is facing down, which is unusual & makes it a lot harder to tell. Measuring just under 18 weeks, but I take that with a grain of salt since I tend to have small babies.

Won't find out if everything was ok until next week, but it seemed to be. Sadly my scanner is broken or I'd post pictures.

Had my u/s at 14 weeks due to a concern of a lump in my mid abdomen.  But, all is fine.  I hadn't planned on having an u/s at all.  We also will not be finding out the gender.  We are esp. curious this time since we have 2 boys and 2 girls.  I'm secretly hoping for a girl since our girls are the youngest.  But, my storage is packed full of boy clothes never worn by my two oldest, and I think a sandwich of boys for our girls would be appropriate too.

We had our A/S today. Everything looked great according to the tech. The tech asked if I was leaning one way or another. As I was telling her how I was thinking boy at first, but now girl, she found the gender shot... I said looks like I was wrong before she could even say "It's a boy"! It was a clear shot...haha! He was bouncing all over the place after that, so I guess he was excited for us to find out. Looks like he will be my wild-child compared to my laid back DS! :)

And yet another girl to add!  We had our ultrasound yesterday!!  Both hubby and I thought it might be, and two of my brothers stated early on that they were pretty sure it was a girl joy.gif

Little One didn't cooperate that well though; kept showing off her spine and didn't want to turn around, so I have to go back in three weeks to get the heart checked out; it's funny, the technician was sorry to make me come back, but I'm thinking, I don't mind at all! I get to see my baby again!!  Everything else that showed up on the U/S looked good though smile.gif

It's a BOY!!! I'm 4 for 4 now with my intuition!! Woot! He came to me 3 years ago in a dream (name and all)...now I cannot wait to meet him in person! So so excited! Everyone was hoping for a boy!

This is making me crazy!!  We don't have any plans for an ultrasound, so it's going to be a surprise.  I'm finding out that it is harder not to know this time.... especially with you ladies finding out your exciting news!  I'm so happy for all of you!

Had our ultrasound today... it's a boy-or-girl! (We're not finding out the baby's sex ;) )

Everything looked good... the tech said I had an anterior placenta but then looking at the photos with her and going over which part was where it didn't actually make a lot of sense to me (eg the orientation of my baby, bladder and placenta were confusing... I feel a ton of movement and kicking in the front, so if it's anterior it's high up there I guess.) Baby was quite mobile throughout the procedure but the tech was able to get a couple of clear shots for us to print out. We saw little feet and hands and things which was quite a trip... Mostly I was just SO relieved that baby was in there and alive and literally kicking and had all the right things growing in the right places.

*exhale*

^^^Cool! Did the tech just have you turn your head at any genital shots? I'm afraid we will be able to tell even though we don't want to know.

Nope, she kept the screen towards her while she did all the measurements, and then I suppose she was just very careful to avoid anything that could possibly be identified ;)

(Overall kind of a weird tech - she explained that she usually doesn't talk when she's doing the measurements so not to worry... but I just watched her 'concentrating' face and worried anyways! We only got to see the baby for a small portion of the exam at the very end, but by that time I think baby and I were both quite done with being poked so I didn't mind)

I had my u/s this morning and we are having a  BOY!

We had our scan yesterday and we're having a BOY too!!

I had my scan this morning and it's still a surprise! (Tech had me look away whenever she was looking in baby's pelvic area.) Everything looked good except for high measurements on the neck fold, which can be a marker for DS. The good news is that I get to see my baby again next week!  Plus a better ultrasound machine and a perinatologist reviewing. Trying to focus on the positive and that this is still very low risk for any problems and the measurement could be due to the baby's positioning - baby was staying head down, low in my pelvis and wouldn't provide another angle. Loved seeing all those fingers and toes today!

I had my ultrasound on 8/8 and we are also having a boy! My placenta is in the front which is why I wasn't feeling any kicks at first, but now I'm 20 weeks and feeling lots of little bumps! My partner doesn't believe the thumps he feels from the outside is the actually the baby--I'm wondering what he thinks is in there!
