New to Portland and looking for friends :)

Hello!

My name is Julie and my family just moved to beautiful Portland two weeks ago. We are from LA, where we had a lively network of friends. I have three kids- Amelia is 6 and will be in 1st grade at Sunnyside next month, Max is 4 and will go to pre school at Childswork, and Sophie Bee is 19 months. Are there any active play groups near the SE area that we could check out? We're missing our friends and ready to make some new ones.

How is the vibe at sunnyside swap? I just found out about it recently. Are people there friendly or is it clique-ish? I fear I would be entering a clique-ish atmosphere and I'd be shy and awkward! I know it's up to me to show up with a positive attitude, of course

I am pretty new to pdx as well. i am a sahm with a 14 mo old dd. i am pretty new to this forum, too, but wonder if anyone is interested in a meet-up? i'd love to meet some other ap-ish or gentle parents around here.
