I put in answer to how long trying that we ttc for about 14 month unsuccessfully, DH's SAs have all come back infertile over the years, but we do have the one son almost 3, we quit trying 8-10 months ago and suddenly a surprise! I am floored.

How long did it take to get your BFP: (big fat positive, were you trying/how long?) This was an oops....dtd during what I thought was CD1 and CD3(had cramps and and bleeding) and then O'd unexpectedly 3 days later. We were planning on trying this Fall so I'd have another 2yr age gap, but as it is they'll be 22mos apart.

Birth plans: Planning on having my second UC, first UP.

Goals/hopes for this pregnancy: I hope to have less m/s and be less grumpy than my other pregnancies :D This is my last baby :( which is very hard for me. I love birth and babies and I would so LOVE to have 5-6 kids but my hubby wanted 2 so this is already a huge step for him. I want to enjoy every second of this pregnancy:)

Early guesses about baby (gender/birthdate/etc): I'm REALLY hoping for a girl and did some big time swaying this time around...let's hope it works. I won't have any u/s so I won't know for 9 months:)

Anything else!: I haven't been on here since my last DDC and it's so nice to be back here again to share this journey with other ladies. Hello to all!

Birth plans: Same midwife & birth center that I used for DD, amazing experience

Goals/hopes for this pregnancy: I hope my much better diet (WAP) this time will make pregnancy, birth and the newborn stage easier.  I'm also still nursing my DD, so I hope we can continue smoothly.  

Early guesses about baby (gender/birthdate/etc):  We won't be finding out the sex this time.  DH would love a boy, DD would love a sister. I will be thrilled with whatever God gives me!

How long did it take to get your BFP: A lot less than I expected. Endo runs in the family, and last year my doctor reduced my cycles to try to lessen my symptoms and preserve fertility, I didn't want to go through any procedures just to confirm bad news. I was prepared for months of trying, but during my first 'cycle' off BC we got pregnant!

Birth plans: Local hospital birthing center

Goals/hopes for this pregnancy: Get through it with healthy baby and healthy me. Accept help from family to get ready. Figure out a better answer to this so I enjoy the upcoming months.

Early guesses about baby: A girl, but hoping to not find out until birth. DH wants to know asap, so it could be a challenge.

Anything else:  Twins run in my family too, but don't remind DH of that.

How long did it take to get your BFP: (big fat positive, were you trying/how long?): With a 10 month old we werent trying to get pregnant on purpose lol. I will however admit to the fact that we were playing Pregnancy Roulette :)

Birth plans: Planning for my second HBAC

Goals/hopes for this pregnancy: I hope to be more relaxed this pregnancy. Less planning and more just "going with the flow"

Early guesses about baby (gender/birthdate/etc): No idea yet. Baylin has asked for a brother (since he has a baby sister). I feel pretty good so far, which is how I felt when I was pregnant with Baylin. Although thats not an exact science, but i will guess boy. We dont plan on finding out the sex.

Anything else!: Im a bust stay at home and part time assistant for my Midwife. I will also be at the Mother Earth News Fair this Sept in PA teaching a Homebirthing class! Come see me :)

Birth plans: Not a clue...just gathering as much information about the diferent alternatives as I can at this point.

Anything else!:  My sister is due 3.28.12 with her first as well, only 2 weeks ahead of me.  We'd always talked about having our babies close together, although we never imagined THIS close!

How long did it take to get your BFP: (big fat positive, were you trying/how long?) 2 months, we decided to stop using protection and I was charting, but DH didn't want the pressure of "we're trying"

Birth plans: same midwife group as previous pg, going to try and have a waterbirth/ no epidural

Goals/hopes for this pregnancy: Try not to gain almost 60lbs like I did with my first! I lost it all in the last 2 years but I probably would have felt better about myself much sooner if I had only gained 30-40. Hoping I stick around here for the full 9 months (like many of you) because I'm so darn happy to be here!

Early guesses about baby (gender/birthdate/etc): BOY.... but I'm finding conflicting answers from the chinese lunar calendar... some are saying girl and some are saying boy - weird? I'm thinking late - April 12th

Anything else!: Looking forward to getting to the 2nd trimester and not being so tired and moody :-)
