Hi all.  I am having a positive day, I hope I am not setting myself up for dissapointment but I think that my CM is getting better and I might have had a very light AF last week!  I was not sure at first, as it was very light, but no spotting after that again and I have noticed a certain increace in CM today!  So exited.  So please move me to waiting to O.

Hello All! I'm back from the beach and ready to jump back in.

Gemmine, Sorry about the drop today. Your chart was looking sooo good! Maybe the EPO will be the answer. I forget if it was this thread or another one but eating carrots is supposed to increase CM and maybe drinking cranberry juice? I forget if it was cranberry or grapefruit...maybe mix them together!

Mommysince2008, I saw on the last thread that your LO's had HFM! Yuck. DS had that three months ago and it lasted forever. I hope they are feeling better and you got some rest.

casmer, Congrats on the job ending! No one needs extra stress and if you and DH can get by without the extra money, being a home-mama-to-be sounds like the way to go. Maybe you will be surprised this month and the timing will work out perfectly for you to have a stress-free pregnancy.

SKJ2011, I hear you on the low expectations. This is the first cycle that we are really trying and I have to remind myself all the time to not get excited because it could take forever.

RKB, I hope that a surprise teaching job surfaces this week for you. My cousin is still interviewing in NYC for teaching jobs and I know that around my area, they regularly fill positions after the school year starts.

arby, looking really good...I can't wait til you break down and test winky.gif

Stevi, it sounds like your young friends are choosing a scary but really rewarding path. It is a shame that there aren't more men of all ages like that guy. Dating again!? Oh, the horror...I'll keep my fingers crossed for the new donor.

Sila, soooo, do you think O? How is the acupuncture treating you?

Sourire, I hope that a break is just what you need. We'll miss you!

AFM, started BD'ing last night for an expected O around Saturday. We're doing every other day because with my bad tear repair, I can't take anymore than that. I'm actually nervous to even do every other day for a week.

ANDTHESTARS- YES THEY DID. OMG WAS IT HORRIBLE. MY YOUNGEST WENT THROUGH IT FAIRLY QUICKLY. LASTING ABOUT ONLY 3 DAYS BUT MY OLDER ONE IS JUST NOW GETTING OVER IT AND SHE GOT DIAGNOSED WITH IT ON THRUSDAY. SHE STILL HAS THE BLISTERS IN HER MOUTH BUT SHE IS SLOWLY EATING BETTER! (TALK ABOUT WHINY IT WAS HORRIBLE) I FINALLY GOT A FULL NIGHTS SLEEP LAST NIGHT AND MAN I COULD HAVE SWORN I DIED! LOL!

THANKS FOR ALL THE CONCERNS GUYS. THEY ARE GETTING BETTER AND MOMMY IS FINALLY GETTING SOME SLEEP.

TODAY I AM OFFICALLY 1DPO (I THINK) I POSTED MY CHART UP HERE IN A PREVIOUS POST. CHECK IT OUT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.

HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A WONDERFUL MONDAY.

I am 8 DPO... not necessarily TTC but not doing much to prevent (except general charting). However, I know there was a fertile day where one thing led to another... :)

I am having all sorts of things going on with my body- fatigue, gas, cravings, some cramping, sudden feelings of being STARVING, some nausea, emotional, starting to get sore breasts, etc. I feel like I have had hormonal related nausea before that isn't related to pregnancy (since I've never been preggers), but this started within a couple days of O and has not let up. My cycles are very regular, so I will know for certain soon enough.

I have taken a few tests- all negative, but since I found great cheap ones, I will probably POAS every day until AF comes. :)

AndtheStars...   Would your DH be willing to bypass the intercourse to help relieve some of your pain from the tear you mentioned? In other words, maybe he could deposit his contribution via the ol' turkey baster method?

And, yeah... Dating is not my favorite thing to do either, but I've been feeling lonesome lately. I'll probably get over that once school starts, but that's still a few weeks away. LOL

OK STEVI I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION. CAN YOU REALLY USE THE TURKEY BASTER METHOD. I HAVE HEARD OF THIS BUT CAN IT REALLY WORK? I AM VERY NAIVE LOL! SO PLEASE BE HONEST! MY HUBBY PICKS AT ME ALL THE TIME! I WILL BELIEVE ANYTHING!

MOMMYSINCE2008...   I do not know if actual turkey basters were ever used for conception, but home inseminations are common, and have been very successful for many people. The regular method is a syringe though, not a turkey baster. :) In fact, nowadays the Instead Cup is also a popular method.

OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME! EVEN THOUGH YOU LOSE THE FUN IN MAKING THE BABY. IF THE DH ISNT ABLE TO BE HOME I GUESS THATS A GOOD WAY TO DO IT! HOW AWESOME! NOW IM GOING TO GOOGLE IT! LOL! THANKS STEVI!

Sourire- I hope you're checking back in to see the messages that will surely follow your post of taking some time off. We will miss you around here, I know you've been a familiar face (name?) around here for me & I am hoping your return brings a nice dark BFP for you. Time off from the doctor sounds like a perfect prescription for getting life back on track, I hope you find peace and comfort in your time at home and you can get you anxiety down! I'll keep you in my thoughts!

Sila- I hope that means O has come!!! About time! Did you BD at all during possible fertile time or are you taking time off until the acupuncturist can get you in balance?

Mommysince2008- I cant really figure out your chart, but I am no expert, I'd have to say yesterday if I had a guess. Glad you family is feeling better after HFM disease.

Stevi- I hope the new donor contacts you & this works out. Also, very responsible of your young friends, I wish them the best in parenting, they are lucky to have a supportive adult like you in their corner.

AFM- 5dpo, I had light spotting on 2 dpo when checking my cervix, and pink after BD yesterday, and more pink/tan cm today... grrr...

Hello everyone! I am still waiting for AF. Was 'supposed' to come 2 days ago & I've had a bit of spotting, but it's not really started yet. Can't help getting a bit hopeful, even when it's highly unlikely, so I took a test this AM, but it was neg. So I am not-so-patiently waiting for it to start so we can move on. On top of my regular 'cycle is crazy anyway' stuff going on, I started running again a few weeks ago, so I'm sure that's going to throw it even more off. It's so odd, I always heard it was harder to get into exercise the older you are, but this time has been the easiest ever - not that I'm complaining!

For everyone else, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you smile.gif And congratulations to the grads from last week!

Take care, Sourire.  Sounds like you have the option of the whole 6 weeks left open, which is good, because you never know, you might be finding that 2 or 3 week break to be really great and may want to extend it.

I'm of the same mind frame, too-- that it would be better for me to take a break from this site and all the intense focus on ttc'ing.  I'm really going to relax, and be in the moment, and enjoy 'what is'.  When AF showed up, after all things were looking so good, I had been so hopeful and now I'm so deflated.  Going to go in for some fertility tests tomorrow (hormone levels), and Friday is an HSG.  An pelvic u/s done earlier this year showed my ovaries with a 'ton of eggs, like a young person' according to my fertility doc... so, I will have the tests done and then we will make some decisions.  Oh yeah... Please move me from Waiting to Know.  Thanks!

Good luck, all!

afm- 4 dpo symptoms. i do this every month...and somehow every month i'm still excited...guess i should just enjoy it! loldust.gifmakebabe.gif

Casmer ~ I’ve updated you to waiting to know – and congrats on being a stay at home wife!

SKJ ~ sounds like your timing was good…what is NPC? Not familiar with that one. Whatever it is, I hope it lengthens your LP too!

Reno ~ I’m hoping you get that job! We just started pre-planning here in GA and I have been working on setting up my classroom and after looking at my student files today (I have 54 kids!!) I am getting stressed and worrying that the stress of the new school year will delay O for me this cycle…and I have long cycles as it is. Sending good job and baby vibes your way! Like AndTheStars mentioned, lots of times positions get filled after school begins.

CorgiMommy – yay  for the positive day!

Sourire ~ Rest up and take care of yourself ~ We will miss you ~ see you in September!

MommySince2008 ~ 10 dpo, eh? Sounds like its time to start testing hehe – at least for me. I can never wait. So glad to hear your girls are getting better.

GenesisBirth ~ Welcome! You sure have a lot of symptoms – I hope they result in a BFP for you!

Stevi ~ Best of luck with the new donor! Keep us posted.

Okapi ~ I’m hopeful for you too – perhaps your new exercise routine delayed O a little bit and that’s why AF is late? Do you plan on testing again?

Tenzinsmama ~ I like your idea to just “be in the moment” – I’ve moved you to waiting to O

Arbybee ~ good luck waiting to test! I’m anxiously waiting to hear the results – fingers crossed!

AFM ~ I’m still just waiting to O…nothing much going on…

Sourire - Like others have said, I hope you find peace and clarity and are able to relax. It sounds to me like you are already on the right track by being so accepting/willing to follow through with your Doctor's advice and take a break. We will welcome you back with open arms.

Tenzinsmommahug2.gif I hope you are able to come to a decision that you feel absolutely at peace about.

Corgi - SO happy to hear you are having a positive day. May it continue! love.gif

AndTheStars - I was just thinking about you because I hadn't seen you post in a while. Acupuncture is good but she can't really do anything for me right now other than balancing points (you can read through last wks posts for a full account, sorry I hate repeating myself). We will see how my temps are over the next few days.

cbaa - DH is in charge of BDing this month and we have agreed to use protection (boo!) until we figure out where I am in this cycle. I'm assuming we will BD tonight since we haven't in a while and DH has another 5 day work wk and I'm sure he'll "need" it before then. So, it'll be kind of sad if I do/have O'd and find out that we could have made a baby tonight. I also had to get an x-ray today, so that egg might be fried. But since we are taking time off/preventing I'm not super paranoid about it. But ugh, everything on the x-ray looked "normal". Waste. On the other hand, since there hasn't been any semen mixed with my CM I have been having a lot of fun really finding out what my CM looks like!

AFM - I left a message with an Arvingo Mayan Abdominal Massage person today. Anyone ever tried it? I even had DH read an article about it and he thinks it might be beneficial to me! Trouble conceiving DS, DS's birth, fertility problems a second time, miscarriage, these all point to problems with the position of my uterus. Now I just have to wait for her to call back and see how much it costs. They also teach you how to do it to yourself. I think I would really like that. I like having control and it would make me feel good to have a ritual to do everyday to help ttc.

Sourire: Take care of yourself. I'll miss you!

Hola tantylynn! How are you feeling?

Please move me to Waiting to O. I'm not as sad because I'm looking forward to EPO this cycle; hoping that it's just what I need.

Sourire - best of luck with the break!  See you when you return.

Sila - Sounds interesting!  I hope you hear back soon and it's just what you need.

Gemmine - glad you are looking forward to EPO and have such a positive attitude.  I hope it helps you.  I may join you next cycle smile.gif

Meredith - NPC = natural progesterone cream.

AFM - My DD is sabotaging my temping orngbiggrin.gif  She went from STTN/up at 530 to waking up a couple times a night.  I'm hoping she settles back into her old pattern soon.  My usual time to temp is 430, but I've been temping when she wakes me up instead.  last night was 315.  Since I'm in the TWW, it's not too much of a problem.  Just was hoping for a good, clear chart.  I'm 4 DPO.  I have my annual appointment with my midwife next Monday.  That will be 9 DPO.  I really hope AF doesn't arrive until after that (preferably for more than 9 months after!).  I'm secretly hoping that I'll get my BFP at that appointment.  But, I am also trying to live in the moment and not get my hopes too high.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sourire...   That Clomid can play havoc with our nerves, I was miserable when I was on it years ago! Have a restful, calming, fertile break!

TenzinsMama...   An HSG? Cool!!! I have read many positive results from having that test done, just having your tubes flushed can result in a BFP!!

AAM...   Well, that dating thing is seeming more and more likely. I even took steps toward it last night. Sigh. Don't get me wrong, I would love to fall in love again, but I'm not looking forward to the heartbreak or idiocy that comes along during the journey.

Think Fertile Thoughts!

I HAVE AN OB/GYN APPT TOMORROW FOR MY YEARLY (WHAT FUN) SHOULD I MENTION ALL THIS TO HER? WHAT DO YOU LADIES THINK? IM KINDA SCARED!
