Night feedings cause negative insulin reaction--totally bogus?!?

Today at church I was informed by a friend of mine that night feeding babies causes them to have insulin reactions causing them to be more hungry and eventually leading to insulin problems in adults.  She was told this by her pediatrician and she doctor told her that her daughter is much too old to be feeding at night.  She's not even a year old yet.

I think this is all bull honky.  I think babies feed at night because (wait for it!).....

They're hungry.

Anyways, I wanted to run it past you guys to see what you thought.  Maybe there is new research that indicates that I'm wrong and feeding Doozer at night is going to cause her pancreas to explode.  Or something equally as messy.

ETA face palm smiley.  Because it was necessary.

I have never heard of it. Does her child has some specific medical issues?

She's has food sensitives, but other than that, shrug.gif.  I have no clue where this is coming from.  I ran it past my diabetic Hubby and he doesn't get it, either.
