Mom away from a 5 month old baby for two 4.5 hour stretches per week. What to do about food?

I am going back to school part time when my DC#2 is 5 months old.  This is about a month away and DC does not take a bottle yet.

One of the times away is in the evening and it's during the time that DC normally does this marathon sleep.  DC#2 will be with her dad and I plan on nursing her a lot that day with one marathon session before I leave.  The main problem I see during this time is that if she does wake she will really expect/want to nurse and will be fairly fussy if she doesn't get it.

The other is in the morning during the time when she is most happy and sleeps well/predictably.  She's pretty sweet during this time but she would normally eat.  Perhaps she will be willing to take a bottle of EBF during this time because she will be relatively content?

Could a 5 month old take EBF in some alternative way for such a sort time away from mama?  Maybe even a cup or spoon?  What about frozen, slushy milk?

Another option during the day is to have the baby brought to me to nurse.  The problem with this is that she really doesn't like the car...and it would be a pain for her caregiver (SIL).

How long can a baby this age go without food if we don't find a way to get her to take EBM?  Would you consider some sort of food for this brief time 2x/week?

I appreciate your suggestions/support.  Thanks!

Kellymom.com has a page on methods for feeding EBM other than a bottle, including a cup--I forget the others but a cup seemed most workable to me. Do you not want her to have bottles at all, or have you tried to give them in the past with no luck? Or you just haven't started her with one yet? If you're concerned that she might not take one when the time comes, you might try having her father or other caregiver give one while you are available in case she has problems. I had my husband give the first bottle while I was at home, in case she totally refused it and I had to step in and nurse her. Since then she has taken one from him while I've been out a couple times. We're coming up on a 5 hour separation and I feel confident that she'll do okay with the bottle while I'm gone.

Mine started to take EBM out of a really small open cup (ie: shot glass) at 4 months old.
