Now that my daughter will be getting off the plane in less than two hours (yay!) I wanted to update.
She had a boyfriend there. My dh is in a tizzy over it, LOL. She called last night crying about not wanting to leave her friends. (I still cannot find the bang your head against the wall icon).
I have concluded, but will definitely need to be reminded, to not get too upset when my teenagers are upset. Maybe. I don't know. I cannot come up with any good blanket moral to this story. But the point is..she ended up being happy in the end. I bet she ends up being sad to be home!
We are taking her out to eat tonight. I am so excited to see her! She says she is excited to be getting home. She has been all giggles over "the boy." Oh..and........turns out...she kissed the boy! It was her first kiss! I am not happy about it, but she sure is!
As far as being the mom of teens..I am thinking this might be a good time to take up drinking, LOL (not really, I am 8 months pregnant after all!)
