I was having LOADS of Braxton-Hicks all weekend. They weren't painful, just constant. I eventually called my midwife who suggested I drink a ton of water, take a bath, and go to bed. But she did want to see me today. They have subsequently slowed down so I wasn't worried.
I went in today and we talked about my probably having a UTI (I have "a history" of UTI) and she went on to check my growth and the heartbeat etc. While she was probing my bladder for tenderness she hit an area that HURT SO BADLY I almost vomited. She said 'Oh is that tender" and hit it again. I almost crawled out of my skin. Because of that I was distracted and not thinking when she said "we'll rule out UTI and go from there."
What other things could it be? Round ligaments? Cycst? Where DO we go from there?
I have to admit I am a little worried although in general I am a relaxed pregnant lady. I don't think cysts would be all that big of a deal.. I just really have my heart set on birthing at the center and I don't want anything to interfere with that.
