Has anyone here ever heard of it? I got the book out of the library (The Fat-Resistance Diet by Leo Galland). I found the book via a friend's blog about his battle with Crohn's disease. Apparently, Dr. Galland has several books out that focus on cellular inflammation as being the cause of most systemic issues, like IBD, Crohn's, celiac, arthritis, allergies, etc. He developed a diet based on "anti-inflammatory" foods and found that his patients who were on the diet plan for their health issues were dropping weight. So he developed a diet more specifically for weight loss.

I read the book, but I'm no scientist and I'm so skeptical about the logic of all these "diets" now. But his plan really just focuses on lots of anti-oxidants and healthy fats, so I'm okay with that. I am loosely following "Phase 1" right now and have lost 4 pounds in the first week! I'm so excited, but I'm wondering if anyone else here has followed this diet and what your experiences were. I *really* don't want to yo-yo anymore!
