Just moved to Bloomfield, NJ and looking for playdates

We just moved to Bloomfield from Brooklyn. We have a 27 month old daughter and I am 25 weeks pregnant. My husband works in the city; I'm looking for playdates. I am currently without car, though that will change soon. (I hope.) We live four doors from Brookdale Park; I'd love to meet for a morning picnic.

A few things about me: daughter was born at home and we are hoping #2 will be too, I am a SAHM, creative type, easy going, daughter is pretty calm and easy, very interested in the world around her.
