When did I O?

This is where it gets hard for me. I haven't had my ppaf yet. DS was born 10-31-10 so he's 9 months old now. I did have major cramping a couple of weeks ago.

I'm going to attempt to attach a link to ff so you can see my chart.

Thanks. I know that's frustrating.

It doesn't look to me like you have yet, but that that maybe you are gearing up to since you are only now just getting fertile CM. It looks like FF is skeptical too.

I just got a faint BFP earlier today. That's why I'm trying to figure all this out. Otherwise I was just gonna keep charting everything until I got my ppaf. Lol.

Oops I didn't see you had some EW about 18 days ago. After that you have a few disturbed temps. Perhaps it looks like you did O if you take out some of those disturbed temps? But if you were 18dpo (based on CM) I would think an hpt would be pretty dark by now...hmm...

When I poas this morning it was right after I peed my first urine and forgot to use the stupid stick so I was forcing myself to get a few drops on the test. So a couple of drops? I didn't think it got the test even wet but when I went to go look at the test, it had that faint line. I have a clearblue easy now from a friend that I will use later.

I'm not quite counting it on my chart as a bfp yet. I want to make absolutely sure I am first.

well if you got a bfp, congrats!

Definitely do another hpt with fmu tomorrow then! You can always have an early u/s to determine how far along you are since you haven't had your ppaf and aren't confident about your O date.

Was the BFP colored or grey?  Did it show up within the correct time frame?  I am wondering if you got an evap?  Otherwise what sensitivity did the first, second, and third tests have?  Did the first HPT have a higher sensitivity than the other two?

A BFP is confusing to me as it really doesn't look to me like you O'd on CD 40.  Your temps just don't support it.  It also doesn't look to me like you have O'd after that either.  Keep in mind that about 33% of women won't ovulate prior to their first pp bleed.  And only half of those that do O prior to their first ppAF will have a fertile length LP that could sustain a pregancy.

I would recommend waiting another few days and testing again just to verify the negative result and then wait for the next patch of fertile CF to see if you can catch an O spike.

The line is still there and pink. It was in the time frame. It was after only a minute instead of the 3 or 5 minute limit. The other tests were store brand. The first was FRER. Although the last test this morning was FRER I got from the store yesterday. I didn't want to use another store brand. I will keep watching my temps and cm. This afternoon and tonight has been really slimy.

Huh!  Well, I'm very curious to see how this all plays out!  False positives are just SO rare that it's really a confusing situation.  Can you post a pic of the test?  But with three HPT-'s on the same and different test it would appear that you are not pregnant at this time.  I suppose it is possible that you were and are now not, but it's also extremely uncommon to not bleed after a m/c.  Plus there's your temp pattern that doesn't indicate O.  So I'm putting my money on a faulty FRER!  Wow.

My guess is yeah you are PG and you O'd with the EW and spotting.  Your temp timing seems to vary and they are generally erratic.  If you are BFing at night/responding to LO at night/etc. that would seem to be plenty to do it.  I think EW is very reliable for fertility timing.  I mean obviously if you are PG you O'd and that looks like the right time.  I say the temping part was just something of a fail for some reason.

Except that she's had three negative tests AFTER the first positive one...  You certainly could go in for a blood test.  That would be a definitive answer for you.

In addition to the CD 13 and not yet theories, 2 more options are "CD" 21 (ignore all disturbed temperatures, and you have a very weak temp rise) and before you started charting.  Are you taking any medications?  There are a few medications that can cause false positives.  Are you going through menopause?  Women going through menopause have higher background HCG levels, though it is still very unlikely that it would be enough to trigger a pregnancy test.  I would definitely look into it a little more.  If you're not bleeding or getting a BFP by the end of the weekend, I would go in for a blood test, and if you are pregnant, I couldn't feel confident enough about your conception date to give you a due date, so you may consider a dating ultrasound.  Good luck, mama.  Keep us posted.

I did go to the dr for their urine test and it was also neg. Just a horrible faulty test. I finally O'd and am 4 dpo now. So at least I have the start of a cycle now!!

Sorry about all the frustration you had to go through, but yay for Oing finally!  Did you DTD around that time?

We did the day of O! I've got some serious cramping from O to yesterday (4 days). I don't know if it's because I haven't had a cycle in forever, but I don't remember having all these symptoms before! Crazy.
