Today's (8/9/2011) Wall Street Journal had a nice article about how and why public-health officials are shifting tactics to encourage breastfeeding.  It states that the goverment's objective is to raise the "exclusive" breastfeeding rate (up to 6 months), with NO supplementation from 15% to 60% by the end of the decade.
