Not a full double shot, because I'm pretty sure a regular shot glass is 1.5 ounces. It took me a few tries to get it all down. I'll try and do the shake at five. I guess it can't be any worse then taking it plain. Right?

Ooooh Riley I hope it works for you!!  FXed and labor vibes being sent to you from me!!

Oh Hun, I feel for you. I too would NOT go thru with it because of THEIR schedule... being induced SUCKS! I was a first timer too ( with DD1) I praise you Mama!  You CAN turn the induction down. I didnt know that till aftwards in my case, your body will birth a beautiful baby when baby wants to be born... Ill be thinking of you and sending natural vibes your way! Hugs mama!

I just would hate to turn it down and then not go into labor before 42 weeks and end up being induced with a stranger. :/

I don't know if it's the castor oil working because I don't feel sick at all, but every since I took it I've been stimulating my nipples every 15 mins and I'm having pretty strong contractions (not really painful yet) so hopefully I can get something started tonight!

Did you do the shake? If you've got even mild contractions going, you would benefit from another dose...It may be all you need to kick you into actual labor. Hoping it is the beginning :0)

Labor vibes being sent your way! I truly hope you can avoid an induction!

I took another dose and now I'm having to go to the bathroom. lol Nothing too horrible though. & I'm still having contractions! I hope things keep going! I don't want to get too excited because I've been having contractions for weeks, but these are getting to be pretty regular.

That's wonderful mama!  Keep up the nipple stim, and if it's possible, you might try having an orgasm.  Your body releases a whole lot of oxytocin when you have one.  Which could be darn near impossible if you've had two doses of castor oil, but it could be worth a try...  You could also try rubbing the fleshy web between your thumb and your pointer finger.  There is an accupressure point in there that's supposed to help encourage contractions...

Regardless, my fingers are crossed for ya!!

Ugh. Contractions went away. Maybe I'll go to bed tonight and wake up in labor. I don't know what else to try!

Did you do the shake, or just the castor oil?
