So here's a little about how my pregnancy has been going...when it comes to eating. I'm not much of a barfer. Thank goodness. Last pregnancy I only barfed once and I'm pretty sure it was because of what I ate that night. Anyway...I want to eat something different at every meal, and its kind of lame because I have all this great food that might go to waste because it just doesn't sound good to me if I just ate it. Today I ran to the store to get vegan butter and green onions so I could have a baked potato for lunch. (I'm at a little family reunion/get-together right now)...everyone else was eating ham and turkey sandwiches. I'm vegan...kind of....most of the time. And typically go High Raw and gluten free as well. (Just for background information)

 

Most of the time I feel pretty amazing, but occasionally I get totally winded and have to just lie down somewhere cool and quiet until my energy can be restored. I'm normally a pretty high-energy, go-go-go type of person and so sitting down for a while can be a big bummer....especially when it happens in the middle of the day instead of right before bed.

 

Before this pregnancy I was doing a lot of detoxing....with eating high raw and a lot of superfoods. For example, I'd have my Vitamineral Green drink every morning (pretty much). I did a few days on the Healthforce cleanse after I'd weaned my son. I also regularly (for the past year to year and a half) have been drinking a Superfood mix called "Chocolate Bliss" which is very powerful and delicious. Anyway, I know the guy who created it and have learned a lot from him about it and from drinking it. It's pretty amazing stuff. Makes me feel all happy, and lessens my symptoms. It's the fun and easy detox, but doesn't work so great if you keep eating junk...fyi. Anyway, its one of the few things that I feel totally nourished after consuming, and as I regularly consume it. There is even a "Chocolate Bliss" song on you tube where they sing all about it. Check it out if that sounds interesting.
