need dentist in NW suburbs of Minneapolis

Hi.  I haven't posted here in ages but DH just took the kids into our dentist and neither he or I were happy with the results--my five year old child was given xrays after we said no, and my 7 year old was encouraged to have a filling as a preventative measure vs having a REAL cavity.  previously I had 4 fillings done last year--1 was a real cavity vs 3 replacement fillings and all of them still don't quite feel "right".

So I'm looking for a new dentist in the Maple Grove/Rogers/Plymouth area.  Anyone recommend anyone who is not drill happy and actually listens?  I had a bad dentist experience myself as a child (had a cavity filled without novocaine) so I'm very particular about  my dentists.

We love Boger Dental in Plymouth! We see Dr. Madden and he completely respects our wishes- no x-ray unless necessary, no fluoride, and has put off filling a potential cavity of mine because he thinks the tooth is healing itself. The office is extremely high tech and everyone is really friendly. I found Dr. Madden after having a different dentist mess up my teeth and he fixed everything they ruined.

awesome. sounds like exactly like what I'm looking for.  I'm iffy on flouride myself and xrays it depends.  The fact he didn't fill something immediately is a good sign.  I had two dentists previously (where I used to live) who were more of the "wait and see" type people on possible decay areas vs "fill it NOW" and I've had little luck finding the same here.   I'll definitely check Dr Madden out.  Thanks!
