Homeschool Skedtrack Question

Is anyone familiar with this program?  I'm teaching a co op class in the fall and hope to use this tracking set up to keep track of my students' grades.  I want to weight the various homework differently.  So reading might be 10% of their final grade.  Their novel responses will be 10% of their final grade.  Their writing projects will be 30% and so on.  The homework I have equals 100% but then within the homework, they won't always get 100% obviously as no one is perfect.  For instance, on the novel responses if they are not putting in the effort and writing well, I'll mark them down.  But on the reading, as long as they've done it, they get 100% credit for that homework.

I am no good at tracking grades or figuring this stuff out and I really hope Homeschool Skedtrack can help me but I just can't seem to figure it out on my own yet.  I did email them but thought it was worth a shot to see if any of you lovely ladies have any tips for me.

Thanks!

Kellie

The grading aspect of HS seems pretty simple to me -- I don't use it much, myself, but I've played with it and it seems to do what you want to do easily enough.  Have you tried asking at the forums at the site?  You might get a clearer response there from someone who's done more with that aspect of the program.

Thank you!  I did find the forum after posting here.  I had forgotten they had one and after much playing around, I have achieved my desired result so I'm super happy!

Thanks!

Kellie
