Introducing eggs

I'm just wondering what others have done when introducing eggs.  DS is 11 months old and I wanted to start offering eggs to him.  I know there is a debate on whether to do just egg yolks until 12 months and then whole eggs after a year...but either way how did others cook/prepare the eggs?  I tried hard-boiling the eggs and then mushing up the yolk for him but it was too dry and he gagged on it.  Is there anything anyone has added to make it more creamy or easier to swallow?  Another way of preparing?  THanks!

I just did scrambled -- when he grabbed at the ones I had prepared for DS1. He was 9 months. If you don't have food allergies in your family, you could probably just go for it.

We gave her quiche when she was a few days short of 10 months old.

Thanks ladies!  I tried some scrambled eggs yesterday...he only ate 3 bites, but didn't have any trouble chewing and swallowing them which is great!

I introduced egg yolks soon after 6 months (hard boiled, then mashed with BM) and around 7.5-8 months I introduced scrambled whole eggs. No reaction, he loves them! Has a scrambled egg nearly every morning for breakfast now :)

We've done scrambled (white and yolk). DS is 7 months. He loves it and hasn't had any problems.
