I am slightly discouraged after having a not so stellar experience this past week at Mt Ascutney hospital. I'm looking for recommendations for a pediatrician who is natural/holistic minded and open to no/delayed vax schedule.
Hi. I was wondering if you had any luck with finding a new pediatrician. I am in Hartland. My last visit to the pediatrician at Mt. Ascutney was also less than stellar. We're going back tomorrow and I'm hoping to have a better experience. If not, I'll be searching elsewhere. I've had a few recommendations for others but they are farther north (Wilder, Hanover); probably too far for you?
Thanks for the recommendation. I tried calling them when I was pregnant but they were only accepting new patients who were pregnant and who wanted them to deliver their babies. I had other plans. I should call again though. Thanks for that recommendation!
Sure! I'd forgotten about that- we home birth, so that was the reason I haven't called them before- I heard a rumor recently that something changed, and they do now accept families who did not birth with them- but who knows, maybe they've filled their quota while I've been dragging my feet...
I know this post is old..but just in case you're still looking, we take our whole family to Cheryl Proctor at Biologic in Brattleboro. She's a naturopath...and amazing with my kids. VERY no/delayed/selective vax friendly (they actually won't even do them there)...always relies on homeopathy first but isn't afraid to resort to western medicine if the situation warrants. Hope this helps!
