Remedies for growing hair?

I'm impatient for the hair from my baby's bald spot to grow back!

Does anyone know of anything I can use to help her hair grow? Probably something topical? Or maybe I can eat some foods that would help?

She's 6 months old, just started on rice cereal.

I don't know about the safety aspect of using it on a baby, but castor oil may help.  A spray mixture of rooibos tea and water may also help.

thanks mulvah!

are you suggesting castor oil topically or by mouth?

i'm assuming the rooibos/water spray mixture is topical too...

Topical for both; sorry I wasn't clear on that.

The castor oil is very thick.  You may want to dab some into your hand and then mix it with another oil - coconut, olive, almond, etc. to help thin it out and apply it in a less greasy manner.
