I think I have an ear infection and have been taking Oil of Oregano internally for a few days.  I read that it works if you put the oil on the outside of the ear.  

 

I'm confused though.  Does that mean on the fleshy part of the ear lobe (like on the actual "outside" of the ear) or does it mean on the skin just outside the ear canal?  I know not to drop it *inside* the hole of the ear (not into the ear drum/canal), but is it okay to dab it gently on the outer ear (like in the "bowl" of the ear)?

 

I'm so confused.....
