Circumcision Unnecessary!

I have 2 boys ages 12 and 14.....not circumcised and have had no problems. Cleansing it properly is imperative, but I am guessing if anyone is on this site, that is not a problem! Happy parenting to all the new and young moms! Peace

Yes cleaning properly ie washing from base to tip like a finger, never retract and never allow any one else to do so is the important part.

Proper cleaning is not "imperative".  Leaving it alone is!  I hate the way intact is seen as dirty.  It's so pervasive that I see it all the time even from people who are against circumcision.  "Leave you baby intact just make sure you clean them properly."  It's like people are afraid it might rot off if a strict cleaning regimen isn't followed.  The fact is there is no special cleaning to do.   I've never had to wash my boys since they have been out of diapers, even then it got washed in the bath more often.  It gets rinse off in the bath just by sitting in the water.  It's just normal. No special cleaning requirements needed.

Can't be stressed enough! No retracting, no cleaning under the foreskin. Clean it just like a finger.

I find it helpful to think of it like washing an eye.  You'd wash the face with gentle wet wiping, but you'd never force the eyelid open and scrub the eyeball or inner eyelid.

No special cleaning, just rinse in shower or bath!
