Hi ladies,
I have been stalking all these threads forever but today I am feeling particularly weird! So maybe y'all can help me out please
LMP-July 26

Today- 8dpo

Here are my symptoms leading up to today....

1 dpo- just crampy. Kinda like af.
2dpo- backache, fatigue, bloated, gassy and crampy
3dpo- crampy
4dpo- started my headaches, waves of nausea, and my skin broke out like i was 15 again
5dpo-gassy, backache, crampy migraine (not due for another month or so)
6dpo- migraine ( i usually get them every three months so this was early for me) super high energy to where i scoured my house! lol
7dpo- super sleepy, breasts having shooting pains through them but nothing too noticeable after the pains! Metallic taste in mouth while laying in bed. Increased thirst. crampy and grumpy!!! Super diarrhea!!!!!!!!!!!
8dpo- Temp dropped from 97.86 to 97.73 today. woke up at 5:30 which is unusual, felt so exhausted but couldn't go back to sleep. When i woke up i felt so sick, like stomach virus sick, cramping, nausea, body aches and pains and the pain in the lower part of my stomach hurt so extreme! like af cramps when i was a teen.

What do you guys think, today's symptoms have me worried that I am out. I want to poas but I'm too scared cause i have 1 test left. Please just give me your advice or information. I am feeling so sick to my stomach today. And what is up with the temp drop so drastic over night! please please please help! I need a buddy!

If you only have 1 stick left and you don't want to buy more, than I say wait.. you don't want to test too early and get a negative and then have to go buy more tests anyway.  Or just go to the dollar store and start using those tests, everyone says they are pretty good even though they are cheap!

97.86 to 97.73 is not at all a drastic temp drop, especially if you woke up a bit earlier than usual.  I wouldn't say you're out of the game at all.  8 DPO is too early too test for most women... I'd wait another 2 days at the least, but preferrably 4 to make sure you get an accurate result.  Can you post your chart?

Hmm...  I might guess that you O'd earlier b/c of your CF drying up on CD 13, the temp spike on CD 12, and the fact that your cervix was closed on CD 13 as well.  This is why FF gave you dashed crosshairs.  How confident do you feel about your CF and CP observations?  Was CD 13's temp earlier than usual- I see that it's disturbed?  It is possible to have a fall back pattern and since it's your first temping chart you wouldn't know if that is normal for you or not.  But, it's possible you O'd on CD 11.  However, it's safer to count from CD 13 when deciding when to test and expect AF.  And I stand by the fact that your temp did not dip drastically at all.  Just normal variation coupled with an early time, but it's still well above the CL.  Good luck!

I took my chart to my ob/gyn on the 10th and he agree's that i o'ed on cd 13 due to my positive opk's. he said some people's temps elevate right before o. so i dunno...im just as dumb founded at the next person. plus that day i had a long night with the kids and i made a note on that day that i didnt even fully remember taking the temp but when i turned on my thermometer that was the temp. i knew what the day before was so...i dunno...who knows lol. my problem with feeling my cervix is its WAY WAY up there so far that even when i reach for it i can only feel the very tip of it. my cm changes hourly. like today started out dry but now i am having creamy yellow discharge. i have been trying to get pregnant before and i usually o on cd 13 or 14! so i know that hasnt changed. i dunno...might take a test in the am to see where i stand and let you know. because if i did o on the 11th i should know something by now lol! thanks though!

When you O can vary quite a bit cycle to cycle.  Even though you  normally O around CD 13 or 14, that does not mean you can't O a few days earlier and it especially doesn't mean you can't O much later.  I normally O around CD 17-20, but the cycle I conceived my son, I O'd on CD 13.  Go figure.  But like I mentioned above, it's safer to count from CD 13.

OPK's are not the most reliable things for a lot of women.  I don't put much stock in them at all.  For some women they never turn positive, for others they turn up positive for days on end or at random times throughout their cycles.  Plus there is the variation involved with the strips that gradually darken vs. the straight +/- kind where you can miss your true surge.  Normally you would O 24-36 hours after a positive OPK, but again it's very uncertain for a lot of women.  I would put way more stock in your temps and CF observations.  As for CF, always mark the most fertile CF you see that day.

Yay for a higher temp today, though!  Maybe you'll get that elusive triphasic pregnancy chart!

today when i woke up and plugged in my temps into ff, it said possibly triphasic on cd21 what does that mean? Do i need to be excited or worried?

Triphasic is a chart that shows three levels of temps: pre-O, the first part of your LP, and a third shift part way through your LP.  This could be an indication of implantation on CD 21 (at 8 DPO, right on target), which is what can cause your temps to spike again.  Triphasic charts are not common and there are times when women get triphasic looking charts and are not pregnant.  So it could mean something, it could mean nothing.  But if it does indicate implantation at 8 DPO, then you would likely get an accurate result on an HPT by now.  Though, of course, each embryo produces its own amount of hCG, so it could also take a few more days to reach a level of 25.  At any rate, it is an encouraging sign, not something to be worried about!  Keep us updated!
