Welcome to C-Bus! We see Dr. Lehman. She's located in Grandview, associated with OSU. She is the only doctor in the practice who is familiar with Dr. Sears schedule, which is the one that we follow for vaccinations. We went for a shots-only appointment when she was on maternity leave and no one knew what to do. Glad she is back! She's very friendly and won't be thrown off by a cloth diaper or an uncircumcised baby.
The further north you move up High Street, the better the neighborhoods. You can find a comfortable place to live in the northern part of the University District, like north of Lane Avenue. If you keep going further, you will be in Clintonville and then Worthington. Proximity to High Streets means easy access to campus -- the No. 2 buses run all day up and down High Street -- and there are parks and libraries along the way. We go to the Whetstone Library, which is right near the Park of Roses -- there's a playground, walking paths, etc. and it's all close to High Street so you are by shops, restaurants, etc.
We have a membership to COSI and love it. They have a young children's area that is awesome. It's all enclosed so you can let your child run around, play in the different areas, etc. and you have to present a ticket to leave with a child. They give you one when you go in that marks how many adults and children there are, so you can only leave with the same number of people in your party. It's very reassuring when you have an active 2-year-old like mine who is running from one place to the next. The libraries here have lots of storytimes and activities too. We really like the Music and Movement storytime at Grandview Heights Public Library.
Good luck with your move!
