My name is Joy.  Im just getting the hang of the forums.  I have 3 children 11,9,2.  My oldest two were unnessasary c sections, everything that COULD have gone wrong, DID.  My youngest was a HBAMC.  It was an incrediably empowering experience.  The article about nursing in Mongolia helped me extend breastfeed my youngest (27m and still going strong) and the article about vaccines helped me stand up to my pediatrician.  My children and I live on a dairy goat farm in East Texas.  I make goat milk soap.  And I just found out that Im expecting my fourth.  :)

Congrats, how exciting. I've wanted to keep goats for a while now, but it looks like it's a bit off in our future at the moment. I loved the nursing in Mongolia article too. Welcome to MDC, hope to see you 'round.
