Help! Can't send PM's!

Attempting to send a PM today - I got the message that 'I'd already sent my allotment of 10 PM's for the day' or something similar (when in fact, I had not sent anything today).  I did go back and delete a bunch of stuff (sent and received) in case that was holding it up but that didn't help either.

Just sent a trial PM to you.  It seemed to work okay - the PM box came up and I typed stuff and sent it.  However once I clicked submit, everything disappeared and I'm left with a blank box in the screen that I can't get to go away - won't let me cancel to exit writing a PM.  

Haven't gone back to verify if the PM was sent yet (in my messages box).  ---  just adding that the PM I sent is listed under my messages, so I guess that worked.

Initially I was trying to reply to a PM from someone else.  I went back and tried again just now and got the original message about how I'd already sent my 10 PM's for the day, but tried PM'ing away from the message reply and it worked fine.  Must have been something to do with trying to reply, but less an urgent problem as I can now get the trial hyland's teething tabs from the giveaway .  Thanks.

I can't send PMs either. I've bee getting the 10 allotments thing for 2 days. Haven't sent a PM in iver a month. I'm trying to respond to the Hylands Teething offer if that makes a difference.

Responding to that PM is the source of the problem. That PM was sent to all volunteers, which were 50 members. Replying to it copies the other 49 members on it, which puts you over your allowed 10 PM per day send amount. That's why you get the message. But you should be able to PM individuals. I received your PM to me so I think you can PM individual people just fine.

mumkimum, what browser and OS were you using when you got the blank page? And was it on a desktop or laptop computer or a mobile device?

We have an iMac (so desktop) and I was using Safari.
