B6 is working... safe to stop Vitex???

I've been taking Vitex for 6 months.  Last month, after another disappointing short 8 day luteal phase, I decided to start taking 100 mg of B6 as well.  Well, I'm happy to say I am currently 11 dpo and still no sign of AF.  DH and I have been avoiding i/c during my fertile time until I could get this luteal phase defect corrected, so I know I'm not pregnant, but I'm happy that my luteal phase seems to be getting longer!  Just wondering if it's safe to stop taking Vitex since it seems that B6 is doing the trick for me.  Or do you think they are somehow working together?  I know there's some controversy about whether or not Vitex is safe during pregnancy, so I'd rather just be off of it when TTC (which hopefully will be next cycle!).  I want to continue with B6 and when I get my BFP, continue it through the first trimester not only because of my short luteal phase, but also because I will probably have horrible morning (aka "all day") sickness as I did when pregnant with DS and B6 is supposed to help with that.  Right now, the 100 mg of B6 I'm taking is in one pill form, but I think during pregnancy doctors recommend taking 25 mg 2-3 times per day.  I can't seem to find B6 in 25 mg pills- does anyone know a store or online site that carries these?  Thanks in advance for all the help!

When did you start the b6 supplements if you don't mind me asking?

I started the B6 on day 1 of this cycle, which was July 22nd.
