diva cup wasn't comfy, what else might I like?

I tried the diva cup for a few cycles but I could rarely get it comfortable.  I've tried cloth pads but I dislike those as much as I dislike the disposable ones.  What else is out there besides tampons?  If I didn't like one version of a menstrual cup, would I likely dislike any version, or are some more comfortable than others?

I've never had luck with menstrual cups due to the size and shape of my cervix.  I had been using a reusable sponge tampon for several cycles and I loved it!  If your objection is to cotton tampons, you might find this to be a good choice.

The brand I use is Sea Pearls -- no idea if there are other brands out there.

There are lots of different cups out there, and some are much softer than the Diva and also much smaller. There is one brand (MeLuna, I think?) that has so many different size/squishiness options it's crazy. And then there are the colors.... ;-)

I also found another blog that had lots of detail about each cup, but can't seem to find it now. Will post if I can find it later...

Found it: http://wisewomanfertility.blogspot.com/2011/04/menstrual-cup-journal-day-6.html

There are several different posts that you can navigate to; this one is the final one in the series and summarizes things. But there is a lot of information in all her MC posts that may help you decide which one to try (if you decide to try a different cup). Note: There are some religious references, but nothing too intense or anything I'd consider to be offensive.

Also found another one while searching for the one above: http://menstrualcupinfo.wordpress.com/

I like the instead soft cups but they are disposable. I just ordered a Meluna from Germany after reading the comparisons I think this shorter length will work better for me than the Diva I was considering.

The Diva was way too long on me. I can get away with turning it inside out. I also have a Femmecup and love it. It's much smaller than the Diva.

I turn mine inside out now thanks to someone from MDC.  You may want to try turning it inside out and see if it fits better.
