If your toddler takes Floradix, how do you get it down?

We switched from Poly-Vi-Sol to Floradix because he hated the taste of PVS.  Guess what?  Floradix hasn't improved things.  In that we are not giving him refined sugar (and therefore don't want to mix the Floradix with, say, sugared yogurt), do any mamas have ideas on this one?  I have tried giving it to him in a dropper, open cup, straw cup, and the little medicine cup.  Maybe I should mix it with juice, but we haven't fed him juice yet.  He is 16 months, BTW.  I have also tried giving it to him mixed with water and an ice cube because sometimes cooler beverages lose a bit of their flavor (the Floradix is, however, already refrigerated).

His iron is still below normal even after months of trying to feed him iron-rich foods, cook in cast iron, avoiding calcium at the same meal and offering the iron-rich foods in conjunction with vitamin C foods.

Any ideas, mamas?

No ideas, just hoping to hear from others as we are having the same problem.  Mixing with juice was a no-go for DD.
