Hello mothers and partners!

 

I am a PhD candidate who is doing a research project on Natural Birth and maternal education. I would love it if you could share your stories of birth at my website by September 15 2011:

I am looking for stories on:

 

  • natural births
  • natural births with midwives
  • natural births with hospital staff
  • homebirths
  • waterbirths
  • unplanned natural births
  • multiples
  • babies over 9 lbs
  • when the natural birth didn't go as planned
  • pain management techniques, advice, products, recommendations

 

My goal is to create a de facto "kitchen table" where birth stories, labour and delivery advice, and pregnancy tips can be shared in a non-judgmental, supportive environment with like-minded, thoughtful individuals. This is the opportunity to share best practices with other moms, which will hopefully inform and advocate for normal birth processes and natural parenting choices.
