My baby is back in the hospital - update in post #36

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this.  Veianya is back in the NICU at the hospital.  She will be there for at least three days and could possibly be there for weeks.  I just had the longest, worst day ever.  Nothing like watching your sickly brand new baby cry her eyes out while she was stuck with needles and filled with tubes.  But even worse was when I had to leave her there alone in a box.

I am home pumping all the milk I can for her.  Nothing else I can really do.  I'll probably venture over to the Preemie and NICU forum on MDC because this sucks and I've never been through anything like this before. 

She could use any positive thoughts...she is a sick little girl right now. :(

Thanks Tamera.  I am doing good though.  I'm pigging out and watching crap tv while I pump.  I already have five, two ounce bottles of breast milk to bring to her.  Having something like that to focus on is really helping me feel somewhat better about everything.

So sorry your sweet little girl is back in hospital. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of her breathing problem quickly. May she be back at home and snuggled in your arms soon. And what an amazing Mama you are to be producing so much health giving milk for her. I do hope you can also get some rest and peace during this difficult time.
