I hope this is the right forum for this sort of a question. Â If not, could a Mod move it?
Â
Well we're not dairy free in our house, we do drink soy-milk almost exlusively. Â Dd just turned a year old two weeks ago and I was wondering if we could start replacing her formula (DH decided we needed to give it to her on top of my breast milk) with soy-milk. Â The formula is dairy based and she'll likely have dairy milk when she's staying with her grandmother on days that I work. Â I'm concerned about her being able to digest the soy-milk since she's never been introduced to it. Â She's had soy before in the form of Tofu (which she loves btw).
Â
I'm not sure if this will effect things or not, but due to DH's chrons the soy-milk has to be low fat. Â Not sure if this will effect things or not.
Â
So I guess my question is, when is a good age to introduce non-dairy milks?
Â
Thanks
