Hey Everyone - I got in touch with my homebirth midwife and she said that if I want to schedule an early ultrasound for peace of mind to let her know.  I asked DH last night and he said we should just wait.  But then this morning he said he thought about it and thinks we should schedule it if it will give me peace of mind :)  So, I emailed her today to see when we should do that.  I will feel so much better once we see that little heart beat!  Mamaforever - your Betas sound great, there is a such a HUGE range I would not worry about the numbers doubling too quickly!  Hope to see some more BFPs here soon!

DD and I are flying home from FL tomorrow morning. It was an early mc I guess. Thanks, esp mamaforever for your comraderie and I hope next cycle i can follow you! FXed still for you BFPs. Also FXed the flight tomorrow doesn't get too unpleasant!

jpack-  I'm sooooo sorry. hug.gif  I hope you are doing okay - that must have been especially hard to go through when you are away from home.  Yes, I know you will be right behind me next cycle.  Take care of yourself.  Sending lots of hugs your way.

jimblejamble-  Sorry. greensad.gif I know it seems like there's no hope with your BFN this cycle, but sometimes those tests are wrong with how early they can detect a positive.  I hope it was wrong, and if not, I'm sending baby dust that your next cycle is successful!

Thank you for your input, addiluvmommy and Ava'sMama about my beta and progesterone levels.  I feel much better about my decision - I truly believe that dropping progesterone may have been a factor of my m/c in Nov. and when I found out that this time it went from 24 to 19 in 3 days, it really opened my eyes that I needed to do something even though my dr. wasn't supportive.  I have found a new OB place that I'm excited to call on Monday or Tuesday and get an appt.  There are 3 midwives at this one and you can have a midwife as your provider and still deliver in a hospital (which is what I want).  One of the midwives there actually delivered my DS (she was not my provider but was just the one there at the hospital on that night).  I would love to have her as my midwife for this pregnancy, but I have heard she's very popular so we'll see.

So, my beta levels were 297 (14 dpo) and 1482 (17 dpo).  So you can see why the HUGE jump is a little concerning, and maybe you're right addiluvmommy about twins.  I guess it's always possible, and twins run in my family and also DH is a twin himself.  I would love an early ultrasound, Ava'sMama, and I think you should definitely do it if it's offered to you!

Good luck everyone with TTC!  I want to see more BFPs on this thread!!!

Hey ladies!  Just popping by to say hello again :)  Sorry to hear about the m/c jpack I hope you get to jump right back on the wagon next cycle!

Ava's mama I think that is great that you are following your gut instinct on this one. We ultimately are the ones who know our bodies best.  Plus, it's not like you are having these concerns without warrant.  You have been doing research and you have had this experience before.  Too bad your old OB didn't recognize the importance of all of this for you.  I hope the new one is on top of it and has some interventions you can do to help things look more like they are suppose to!

mamaforever:  I hope that ultrasound shows you want you want to see!

AFM:  I stopped taking all of my supplements to help with my progesterone last month.  So no B-6 or vitex.  I didn't temp, so I can't really see what's going on, but my cycle was only 25 days!   So that sort of weirded me out..I might just go back on the supplements just to make me feel better about getting back on the TTC wagon in a few months..

I am getting so frustrated with my body.  I usually have a 14 day luteal phase (usually O on cd 13 so a 27 day cycle).  Last month I had a 15 day luteal phase and a 29 day cycle but I think it could have been due to stress.

Well I started taking vitamin B6 in the hopes of increasing my CM output, I have also read that it can lengthen your luteal phase but wasn't too worried about that since mine was fine.  Yesterday was cd 24 (11dpo) and I started having some cramping and then last night I noticed some spotting when I was checking my cervical position (I usually have spotting when I check my cervix the day before AF comes).  I haven't had anything yet today but I am now worried that I will start today.  That means my luteal phase will have decreased by 2-3 days.

I know it is still in the healthy range for a luteal phase but I also know the shorter the luteal phase the less likely you are to achieve a successful pregnancy :(

Ava's Mama-Hope everything is going well with you.  Did you get your ultrasound?

JPack--So so sorry about the early miscarriage.

Mamaforever--Glad to hear everything is going well with you also.  OMG twins possibly!?

Adiluvmommy--I hope your worries are unfounded and your luteal phase is not shorter.  FWIW I spot 2 or 3 days before AF.

Hello everyone, Congrats and best of luck to all of you. Sorry I am so behind this week has been so chaotic. I had some major mood swings/ panic feelings with the clomid . I did not remember that happening time.  I had a much darker line on my OV test strip yesterday but I am not sure it was as dark or darker but very close for sure. It was the darkest I have had so far that I know. This am it seems a tiny bit lighter but still much darker then it has been.  So we shall see. My thermo broke the other day so yet another month of missing temps grr. But I am going out today and I will pick up a new one. Going to town for that sort of thing is wasteful in my situation so I had to wait till I had to go for other things.

Well I better get this day running I am swamped.

Simonsez2u- Thanks, I am hoping that is just the case.  While part of me is really read for AF to start so I can go ahead and TTC, I don't want that at the cost of my LP lol.

Gator-mom-  Good to hear from you!  How are the night shifts going?  I know what you mean about being bothered by a short LP even if you're not trying!  I would suggest to keep up with the supplements just so hopefully you're good to go by the time you're ready to TTC.

addiluvmommy-  Are you sure it's not implantation spotting?  I would be very surprised if B6 actually shortens your LP.  But even if AF starts tomorrow, that makes your LP 12 days and that's plenty of time to allow a fertilized egg to attach.  I hope AF stays away though and maybe you had some implantation spotting!!!

Simonsez-  Probably not twins, and I actually would be a nervous wreck if I found out there are two in there, lol!  Hoping you have a successful cycle!

ohmother-  Crossing my fingers that Clomid works quickly for you to achieve pregnancy!

AFM-  Doing good still, 5 weeks along today, and starting to get some waves of nausea (I was VERY sick with DS starting around 5.5 wks).  So the nausea makes me feel more confident that things are going well with this pregnancy.  I have an appt. with a new midwife for Feb 3rd and I'm hoping to hear the heartbeat at this appt since I'll be around 7.5 weeks then.  I would still like to get my progesterone tested one more time soon so I am thinking about calling some labs to find one that doesn't require a physician's order to do a test.

Simonsez - My ultrasound will be next week.  My bob are really sore, which I had with DD, so I am feeling hopeful.  Anxiously waiting to see that little heart beating!

mamaforever - you can her the heartbeat with a doppler at 7.5 weeks???  I thought it was closer to 11-12 weeks?

I also posted on the 2WW list, buuuuuut I got a BFP today!  I am truly shocked.  I tested 4 days before AF with a FRER and it was BFN.  Today, BFP appeared instantly.  Today's the day AF was supposed to arrive.  Now I have to wait until Feb 14th for an ultrasound.  As if the 2WW felt long...

I have been logging in so infrequently - I can't keep up with everyone's updates.  I think I'll hang here for a while because I am so nervous about this baby sticking....

Congrats Jend!

That is great about sickness. I have been super sick with all of mine and they always told me that was a very good sign. SO I tell myself that to get through it. :)blahblah.gif I am really praying that this time I will be able to get by with out the meds. I will have help from my older kids for small stuff and I know how to pace myself. SO fingers crossed it works and if I may be so bold  that it be a boy. Sheepish.gif

I pray you Ultra sound goes wonderful. Feb is right around the corner.  I

mamaforever- Eh, it probably wasn't the B6 but that was the only thing I have changed this month so it was all I could think of.  No signs yet of the witch showing today, but I still keep checking lol.  I highly doubt it could be implantation spotting since me and Dh have only dtd twice this cycle on cd 10 and cd 22-I o'd on cd 13.  I figure if I had gotten pregnant from the cd 10 one it would have implanted before then :\

Congrats, Jend!!!!!  Sending lots of sticky vibes to you!!!!

John16n33/addiluvmommy-  Any sign of AF?  The first three times I got pregnant I had spotting on exactly 11 dpo.  This time I had spotting on 13 and 14 dpo.  I suppose it's not considered "implantation" spotting when it happens that late but more like hormonal spotting, especially since I *know* I implanted around 7 dpo when I started having very weird hot flashes and other symptoms.  But I sure hope that's what the spotting is for you and not AF on her way!!!

Ava'sMama-  I think you're right about the doppler.  I was just hoping for an ultrasound at around 7.5 weeks which I also had with my DS at that time, and they could pick up the heartbeat from that.  How exciting that your ultrasound is next week!

ohmother-  Sending some baby vibes to you and hope you conceive soon, and that you get that little boy you dream of!

jpack-  How are you????  Thinking of you and I hope you are doing okay after your loss.  I know you will have that extra fertile luck like I had after my m/c and be able to conceive again very soon.  Hugs.

mamaforever-  Nope she still hasn't shown yet, and no spotting last night.  She isn't technically 'due' until tomorrow though and I tested this morning (wasted my only digi but it was all I had) and it was a BFN.  I guess I will wait a few days and see.  I am not going to be surprised if she doesn't show up tomorrow and my luteal phase increases by a couple days since that is one of the things the B6 is supposed to do.

Hello Ladies! Just checking in.

I posted in the 2ww thread but congratulations again on the BFP Jend1002.

Mamaforever- It's not too often you can say thank goodness for nausea!

John 16n33--Glad to see the B6 is working for you.  If your pregnant even better!

AFM:  AF is officially over!  I am thinking positive thoughts about this cycle.  DH is going out of town next weekend right around my fertile window, but I am meeting him this time with no children!  Sigh... the BDing possibilities are endlesswinky.gif. If we are lucky maybe the result will be a new bean and if not at least a hell of a good time.
