Doing our own speech therapy?

My Ds is 5 and generally very articulate, but he can not for the life of him say the letter L if it is at the beginning of a word, it turns into a W. Anywhere else in the word it is fine. I really don't want to get involved with a district program but I would like to help him does anyone have any suggestions of resources. 2/3rds of me wants to just let it go and trust in our Unschooling but that other 1/3rd is filled with the memories of my own childhood, filled with speech and OT, though I never understood what I was doing at the time.
