DH and I are getting ready to move out of the suburbs (we're north of Dallas right now) and check out land in SE OK. We want to make our first visit in mid-Sept, just to make sure that yes, that is where we want to settle, but we don't know anybody there and would like not to be totally on our own.

We (DH and almost-5-yo DS and I) would like to meet up just for maybe a couple of hours (we'll be there Friday through Sunday or Thursday thru Sat) just to get a feel for the place and ask some questions.
