Survey call from the CDC... I hung up why are they calling?

I am knew here. Was told to come over and ask this by a momma on BBC. I got a call from the CDC stating they were conducting a survey of children to see how many are getting their vaccinations and who are on time and up to date. I was so bothered I did not say anything I hung up on her and felt my "right of choice" to not vaccinate was being violated and led me to believe that the Gestapos are now in America and this call made me feel as if my rights are being stripped. I did not even let her speak. I don't know if she was going to berate me if I told her my kid is NOT vaccinated and will NEVER be. Anyone else go through with the call and if so how did it turn out. Am I just paranoid?

Wow, I just spent some time reading the questionnaire .  I would not feel comfortable talking to them either.

There have been threads here on this. One was really funny- from an actual person who had the job of interviewing people for the survey- s/he was begging  people to ask to be taken off the list b/c if they didn't ask, s/he had to call them back.

Just because non-vaxers are paranoid doesn't mean the government is not trying to sneakily figure out what our weakness are and figure out how to make us vax our kids.

You were randomly selected by a random number dialing process. This random number dialing process calls businesses, disconnected numbers, households without children, households that do vaccinate children, and households that do not vaccinate children. You were called because your phone number was chosen by the computer at random.

If you don't want to participate, you must tell them next time they call to remove you from their call list. If you just hang up or say you are busy, they will call back.
