i'm starving and struggling with healthy, high protein foods/snacks to keep on hand that i can just grab and eat without any prep. i need ideas of things i can eat with babe in arms. i don't have any food restrictions or allergies so anything goes. i've got yogurt but it only has abot 4 grams of protein. i've got cheesesticks, but how many of those can i eat in a day? kwim? i can't seem to eat enough or have enough on hand.

any ideas?

during pregnancy I ate a lot of Clif Bars for fast, easy protien packed snacks. they are kinda expensive but I would stock up when they were on sale because the alternative (for me) seemed to be lack of protien in my diet... come to think, I should get some the next time they are on sale... I need quick easy snacks now too!

Granola bars, I also buy this brand of bread - Arnold double protein - make a few pbj sandwiches at a time and have them ready in the fridge; hard boiled eggs.

I do granola bars or mixed nuts. Niether are cheap, but they work well. I've had a hella sweet tooth since pregnancy, so I toss some dark chocolate chunks in with the nuts. Ymmm.

Greek yogurt is a bit higher in protein than regular. I love the Fage brand. Also, any flavor yogurt mixed with cottage cheese and some chopped nuts or granola on top is tasty.

Veggies w/ hummus dip or fruit with a nut butter dip are also favorites of mine.
