how do get the hubby to baby wear

I've worn both my babies and my husband can see the benefits. He was almost in to the sling thing but something got a hold of him and now I can't get him to wear anything. Any suggestions?

I made DH a mei tai manly sized and manly colors, he uses that and will use a ring sling if the mei tai is not easy to get to. The maturity of our little one mattered too he had to be about 4 months or so before DH was comfortable wearing the little one.

I bought a black mei tai, but he was never interested in that. He does not have much of an issue with their size. We make em big. My four month old is now 19lbs! I think he thinks is girly. I try to show him all the him that wear their babies, but want to avoid those commercial type carriers.

I know you said you wanted to avoid a commercial type of carrier but do you think it would help if he could pick out his own carrier?  There is no way my DH would have used a sling but he carried DS all the time in a baby bjourn and later, a Kelty backpack. 

I love seeing baby-wearing daddies!
