Hi everybody!
I can't believe I'm back posting in a due date club. I'm due the end of April.
I'm still in the excited, shocked, scared, excited phase. The idea of a new little snuggle bunny is so cool, the idea of be pregnant again with all of the aches, pains, sweating and peeing not so much.
I'm a homeschooling SHAM with 2 children. Both of my babies were born at home, after very nonstandard labors (3 weeks "overdue" with one, 1 week of broken water with the other.) I'm still nursing with my DS, and I hope to continue right through this pregnancy. I nursed with my DD through her brother's pregnancy and then tandem nursed for a bit. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, but I'm up for doing it again if DS wants too.
I'm going to be 40, and I'm a little nervous how that will affect care providers treatment of me. I also have a child with Down syndrome and Leukemia so I'm nervous about all the chemo exposure and the genetic stuff. I'm sure that I'm already well into the geriatric/high risk category without even looking at my health (which is pretty good as far as I know.)
I've got a good case of placenta brain going. I had forgotten how that is. I'm also having a lot of hot flashes and chills. I am hoping to avoid the leg cramps and water making me puke (I can hope, right?)
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.
