Hi! I am in Rockville Centre and have the same issue... have been looking or more like minded people and it has not been easy.
That said there is a farmers market in RVC on Sunday mornings and there is a food co-op i saw posted at Revolution
Yoga. I also found some "crunchy" people in the several local united universalist congregations. There was also a place that sold alltypes of green products
