Toddler + Infant in room together?

I have a two year old (27 mo) and a 5 mo.  The 5 mo surprisingly does not like to cosleep, although he is in a side carred crib.  I am starting to get the feeling that DH and I are disturbing his sleep at night.  We are moving soon and I'm wondering if it would be a good time to move DS2 in with DS1--although it feels a little early to me, especially with continued nightfeedings.

Anyway, if you have two young ones who shared a room, what ages were they when you started?  Pros and cons?  Did you have to do bedtimes at the same time?

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

DS and ODD shared a room.   Both DD's now share a room.

DS was 3 when I moved ODD in the room.  I would , nurse her and cuddle her in the room and lay her down and out I went.   She was about 8 mos when we moved her in.  In the beginging I would put the baby down first, then stories and cuddles w/DS and we'd tip toe and whisper out good nights after 30 mins or so.

When YDD was about 6 mos we moved her into her crib.  She was like your DS, no interest really in co-sleeping.  She liked to grunt herself to sleep.  lol   She slept thru the night already, but would wake early in the am like 5 or 6 for nursing and I'd keep her in the bed with me cuddling.  ;)   She's 17 mos now and ODD is almost 4 and they sleep great together!!  Only problem I have is sometimes they mess around at bed/nap times or wake the other one up before they are ready.

For bedtime now, I read the girls a story, give kisses and love and out I go.  I think it's better to get them to sleep together rather than seperate staggered bedtimes.  I fear waking the sleeping one.
