DS2 is 3mo and he still has to spit up enough that we can't side-lie nurse.  I mean we can nurse that way but he will start screaming soon after because he needs to burp then spit up.  I usually sit up, nurse, then burp and rock for at least 1/2-1 hour at each nursing.  It is getting SO OLD.  I nursed DS1 in bed side lying from early on and it was the only thing that kept me going.  The worst thing is that DS2 will chomp my nipples and start screaming if he gets too much air or has to spit up (different thread).

 

Any advice to nurse a spitter at night?
