Fermented cod liver & butter oil & ebf baby

Just started taking this supplement today. I would have assumed it would be enough that I'm consuming it, for my 6 month old ebf baby to receive its benefits.

But I've read that baby should receive her own dose, b/c I might have absorption issues. How would I know if I have absorption issues?

Basically I'm reluctant to give it to her directly. The cinnamon tingle flavor is burningly intense! She hasn't even had a bite of solid food yet!

There is conflicting, confusing info out there about this.

I wouldn't give anything except breast milk to an EBF baby at least until 6 months.  Since she's 6 months, it's your call, and I would be fine introducing it as one of the first foods whenever you think she's ready for something other than breast milk, but no need to rush.  Be a little careful with Sally Fallon's baby feeding advice.  Her formulas are arguably not bad, but she is pretty out of touch with the importance of exclusive breastfeeding... the original raw milk designed for humans!

I have been a bit dubious about Sally Fallon's opinions about breastfeeding. I would like to introduce  fclo as one of baby's first foods, but I'm concerned the cinnamon flavor is way too intense! And it's out of my budget to order another bottle at this time. Meanwhile I will hope that she is receiving some benefit from my consumption of it. I may take a bigger dose everyday.

I appreciate your input. :)

You could consider using it to season another (cold) food for her such as yogurt or maybe even pate.
