talk to me about IgG positive for gluten and sleep

I just rec'd the test results for DS and he is IgG positive for gluten and wheat, but not much else. He's EBF so we're both eliminating and doc will retest in 3- 6 months.

DS has been a bad sleeper -- fights bedtime for hours even though he's visibly sleepy, and is up every 2 hours or so. (18 mo) is there any hope that his sleep will improve as his body heals?? I saw drastic improvement in DD 4 years ago with dairy elimination (IgE) and I am wondering if I can expect this to be similar.

thanks in advance!!!

it's possible that gluten is the only issue and he'll sleep after you both remove it (gluten is the one that takes the longest to get out of your system though, so it may take at least several weeks). It's also possible that he's got an intolerance to something else and it won't show up on any kind of blood test. While you're eliminating gluten, you could keep a food diary and see if you notice any other patterns.
