Sometimes people overwhelm me with their kindness!!

Yesterday I had a friend visiting.  I mentioned to her that I was looking at finding someone to pay to come in and wash all the baseboards/air vents/light fittings and switches/fan blades etc.  They have just been bothering me and I feel like I'm not getting to everything that needs to be done, KWIM?

Anyway, this dh insists that we go out for the day and I was really annoyed as I was looking forward to a quiet day at home.   Got home late this afternoon to a spotless house!   My friend and another friend came over did everything I was moaning about yesterday AND cleaned the bathrooms, kitchen, vacuumed, cleaned the laundry, etc.   

I am beyond blessed!  Seriously, what a wonderfully kind thing to do!

That is awesome!! I have been finding out that sometimes all you need to do is ask. I know I am always looking for opportunities to help people because I enjoy it. I don't have any close friends but I have been going through some really hard things and just by posting on Facebook and asking for help I have been given so much. I hurt my back a while back and 2 people stepped up to drive me around because I couldn't. My doula has given me all her baby clothes, diapers, a highchair, a bouncy seat, and some diapers. Other friends have given me lots of produce from their gardens. All things I have been stressing about because I have not had income for 3 months now. In the past I would have turned it all down due to pride but now I humbly receive and look for my chance to pay it forward.

I have had 2 different people message me this week that they have bags of baby girl clothes - such a nice surprise!
