And now it's not letting me edit stuff....awesome.  kittenbritches, I will move you as soon as the computer gods allow me to edit again.  casmer, I'm also going to move you to Waiting to O from chart stalking.

Stevi, I totally understand about not wanting to get hopeful.  I will continue to stalk in silence.

AFM, yep, definately POAS this morning aaaaannnnddd....BFN.  Like it was any surprise.  It's way too early but I just couldn't stop myself.  Another $4 down the drain.

Thanks for the new and improved thread AndTheStars!

AFM - just hanging out waiting to O whistling.gif I got the BD thermometer and started using it this cycle instead of my walgreens one that I used in the past.  The last three temps have been the exact same, and all temps this cycle have been with in 0.2 of that temp.  I'm thinking the thermometer is a dud.  Does anyone have a suggestion on a good BBT?  I've got a CVS right down the street, or could schlep over to target if need be.  Thanks for any suggestions.  Also, is it worth trying a new battery in the BD first?

AndtheStars - thanks for the new thread, you are a wonderful thread mistress stillheart.gif Now move my name to 2WW baby, cuz I got some cross hairs WOOHOO!!! (as soon as the computer gods allow you too, of course).  According to FF, I O'd a couple days ago, meaning my successful mission to get DH to BD with me last night was for nothing?  Oh well, we get a long break now which we will both be thankful for!!

SKJ - I got my thermometer from Walgreen's and it has been fine.  Bonus points for it being pink.. I love pink lol.  Sometimes my temps are the same, in fact yesterday and today are the same.  If you look at my chart, you will see some of the same temps a couple times in a row.  Maybe it's ok?

Kitten - looks like your cross hairs moved?  Did FF override yours or what?  I am stalking your chart, if you couldn't tell. winky.gif

Thanks for the new thread Andthestars! It's beautiful. I was going to mention alphabetizing but didn't want to seem super anal lol lol.gif Oh and, If you are one of the people whose link isn't working you are making chart stalking hard wild.gif While you are at it you can move me to Waiting to Be Ready. Still not really trying until we learn WTF is going on.

cbaa - thinking of you! Hope all goes well today!

I have been emotional the last 2 days ugh. I really need to get going on my day now...

Beautiful new thread Andthestars! Very pretty and organized.

My current plan is to test on September 1st or 2nd if AF hasn't shown by then, but I've got to admit, not having temps to confirm O is making me nervous. I go back and forth between thinking I might actually be pregnant, and thinking that I'm totally wrong and I haven't even ovulated yet!

Oh and here's my chart for what it's worth. I'm pretty sure the temperatures are useless, as I think all of 1 of them came after 3 hours of sleep, but nonetheless, here it is: BFPChart2.gif

Thanks for the new thread, Maria!  It's all so lovely and organized!  I hope it'll let you edit the OP at some point, though.  :P  Friggin computers.

SKJ - I just ordered a new BBT from Amazon and it is a BD one.  It should be here by Thursday, I think.  I ordered it because my current thermometer keeps spitting out its "favorite" temperatures and I really don't feel like it's accurate.  I'm hoping this is my month, though, and I won't have to worry about charting again for a while (but also trying not to get my hopes up too much).  Ugh!  If yours is the same as the one I ordered, it has pretty good reviews.  I loved the first BBT I had, but unfortunately I lost it during one of my many moves and haven't been able to find the same one online again.

Janelle - I discarded one of my temps (because of my bunk thermometer, among other reasons), and when I removed my override FF gave me CH exactly where I thought I had ovulated.  Sooo...I'm going with it!  Yay for getting your CHs!!  Based on your temps and other symptoms I figured you'd get them for CD 16 or 17.  I vote that your successful BDing mission (yay) was "for good measure" and not a waste!  LOL.

Sila - I hope you have a wonderful day!  Also, that you'll be able to get some answers soon.  hug.gif

Carlin - Based on your CM and CP, I'd put money on you having O'd on CD 20.  So that puts you at 6 DPO (a day ahead of me).  I was thinking I'd test 9/1, but then I was thinking I'd test 8/29, and now I'm thinking I *might* cave and test on 8/28 (11 DPO is when I got my BFP with DD).  I'm not a POAS addict or anything (nor am I in denial -- LOL), but we'll see how my "symptoms" are when that time comes!

AFM - Today is my son's first day of school (2nd grade) and I am so nervous/anxious/stressed.  He has ADHD (was dx'd October of last year) and I homeschooled him the rest of the year.  His teacher very clearly hated him and wouldn't communicate with me so we could work on behavior and pretty much threatened me with special ed if I didn't medicate him.  We did end up putting him on meds, but he wasn't behind academically and wouldn't have even qualified for special education services.  There were a lot of things that factored into deciding to send him back to public school, but it was so hard for me.  Since we moved, he's back at his old school (not the one with the terrible teacher), and I've already spoken with his new teacher about where he's at, my expectations of communication, etc.  But he's my BABY and I just want to protect him forever.  LOL.

Thanks for the new thread AndTheStars-- looks great!  Super organized and up to date...

Can you move me to Waiting to Know?  Thanks.  Here we go again...

Updated to here

Whew!  I think that I fixed all the chart links except CorgiMommy (post your chart link for me again blowkiss.gif).  Sila, you can stalk more easily again.

kitten, hugs for the first day of school.  I can't imagine the disaster I will be when DS goes to school.  Public school scares me, the COST of private school scares me and me homeschooling scares DH so school is something that I have filed in my 'facts that cease to exist when ignored' tray.  Yay for cross hairs and O!

Someone please tell me what I already know...8 DPOish is way too early to test and I shouldn't pay any attention to the BFN I got.  I'm bumming.

Thanks for the sympathy.  LOL.  When DH and I drove away from the school I told him that I just wasn't designed to let my kids go.  Heh.  It'll be good for him, though, and we'll *all* adjust!

And don't you pay that negative test any attention!!  It's definitely too early!

AndTheStars - Thanks so much for the lovely new thread!

Janellody - we O'd on the same day! 2ww buddies!!

AFM, FF says I'm 3 dpo so please move me to Waiting to Know . I am going to try and make myself wait until 12 dpo to test because I am always such a testing freak and I need to just kick the POAS habit...at least my ridiculous 7-8 dpo testing. Even when I know its too early, I just can't stop myself sometimes haha! I am a little concerned about our BD timing. We did it the day before and the day after O but not on O-day. <sigh>

Thanks for the new thread!  I love alphabetizing! DH and I managed to have one day together during my potentially fertile window (I stopped charting so I wouldn't bum myself out now that we are 12 hours apart but I was still having fertile cm when we were together) and we made the most of our time Sheepish.gif so even though a baby would just make our lives even more insane right now, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...I'll let you all know what happens...

Thanks for the new, updated, and organized 'One Thread' andthestars, I also like the alphabetized 'everything in its place' format, if only that fit so well into my home life!

sila- I hope you figure out what is going on soon, we need to go to a DDC together ASAP. Thank you for the thoughts today!

I'm so jealous of everyone moving into the 2ww right now while I sit here at a measly CD 5, 6 or 7 (not really sure what CD1 was...) It also depresses me that the majority of people in the one thread were not here when I started. Pity party over.

I had my HSG today, I took aleve at 6 am, 3 advil at 9 am, and 1 tylenol at 915 (for good measure!). They were 45 minutes LATE taking me in (seriously, 45 min late for a 10 min procedure, WTH), Which threw off my whole attitude since I was then 15 minutes late getting back to work & I was late for my own patients... errr. The test itself turned out to be no big deal, once I finally got in there it lasted under 10 minutes. They put in the speculum, inserted the probe, shot in some dye, snapped a few pics and then it was done. The doctor said both tubes were open & all appeared A-OK. The sensation when they inserted the dye was like intense period cramps/ gonna pee on the table right this second, but it only lasted maybe 30 seconds & I felt nothing (other than leaking) for a few hours after. It was weird to see the x-ray up on the screen the whole time & then to see how little your uterus actually is. I hope they will give me a copy of my picture... I'm a medical junkie Bolt.gif

8 dpo is way too early! Don't pay any attention to it at all ~ I'm so bad about early testing (I've been known to POAS at 6dpo. Crazy, I know) so just hand in there. A few more days and you'll get a more accurate answer...and hopefully a BFP!!

cbaa - Oh I hope you get a picture! Then you can tape it to your mirror and say positive things to it like " you will grow a baby". You know, like putting post its on your mirror with positive mantras and quotes. That is definitely something we haven't tried yet! Or you can threaten it because now you know what it looks like and where it lives. P.S. I totally crashed your majority-of-the-people-on the-thread-weren't-here-when-I-joined party. I figured your meant to invite me anyways. I wish it was as easy as we could just elope off to a DDC...

jlmschrim - I'm glad you and your DH were able to make the most of your time together! Good to hear from you!

***TO ALL YOU EARLY TESTERS***

Friends don't let friends test early. I really don't understand what possess you guys to test when there is nothing even present yet to test for... Do not be offend. I. Just. Simply. Do. Not. Understand.

AndtheStars: Thanks for the new thread! I love the alphabetization!

SKJ: Have you tried temping when you're up and moving around? That's a good way to tell if it's a dud or not.

Sila: I wanted alphabetization too; it was making the OCD part of me itch!

kittenbritches: I just love your username; it makes me cackle every time! Aw, that sucks that his teacher was like that. I hope this is a good year for him!

cbaa: I'm only 2 months behind you in the "when I started here" situation :-( I hope we're both out of here soon. What's next for you, dr. office-wise?

To all the early testers: Find a cycle buddy and designate a testing day together. That psychological aspect of having that support and someone watching you while you watch them is REALLY helpful. It's why I didn't test my BFP cycle until 12DPO with 2 other ladies.

AFM: I believe I shall O today. I might be O-ing RIGHT NOW AS I TYPE. Looking to get in one more BD, though 2 would be awesome. Not seeing any results from the EPO so I dunno what to think.

I agree, all you early testers need to calm  down!!  Don't give yourself unneeded worry! I am not testing until I miss my period so HA, everyone should be cycle buddies with me and not test until I do biggrinbounce.gif

Of course........... this is my first cycle TTC so I guess I should shut up until I get a little further along and see if I can handle myself not testing LOL!!

Andthestars: thanks for your work- the new thread is beautifully organised and lovely!  And yes too early to test so dont get your spirits down!  And I agree with Gemmine- that is a good suggestion.  Lets plan a day together and stick to it?  You can chose the day and i'll go along with it!  I promise to show lots of self restaint!

CBAA dont worry, I am sure it wont be long before you are in this frustrating 2WW too!  I hope time goes quickly for you.  I have been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years now and even a bit longer where I didn't actively try but didnt' prohibit.  So even though I've not been here long at all, I do understand the frustration.

Glad your hycosy went well (and a lot better than mine did by the sounds!)  Mine was very painful (I have a very far back difficult to locate cervix :/) and then I got a rather yucky diagnosis (2 blocked tubes and PCOS).  Here's hoping this is your month as when I did mine I read your chances of conceiving are much higher after that procedure!

Kittenbritches: I hope he goes well and his teacher is perfect for him.  It is amazing what a difference the teacher can make.  My little girl just started prep this year (here they attend prep as their first year of school).  She hated kindy and is sooooo shy and reserved.  She would not interact with anyone except one teacher aid which she stuck to like glue!  Then she went to school and got the most amazing (very strict focused teacher) and she loooooves it.  She's actually sick today and I wanted to keep her home but she wouldn't let me!  She wouldn't let me tell her teacher she could call me if she got worse either.  She just loves it.  I hope your son gets a positive experience too.  My husband has ADHD and has often told me how hard school was for him.

AFM: I got sooo dizzy yesterday in the middle of a conversation with a friend and then it continued for the rest of the evening.  A sign?  my headache that lasted more than a week has finally gone- phew!  And my flu symptoms are finally feeling better too. trying very hard not to test!!

MeridethA - Since we are 2WW buddies, I can try to convince you not to POAS too early, right!!! :)
