I have just been prescribed 50 mg of Zoloft per day, is this safe while my wife and I are trying to have a baby?

Robert, my husband is on Zoloft, but when we started trying to conceive we found that it was taking him an extremely long time to reach orgasm. Â In some men, Zoloft causes ED or, as is the case with my husband, difficulty or inability to reach climax. Â I have also read that some studies suggest Zoloft can decrease sperm count.
Â
However, I haven't read anything to indicate that Zoloft isn't *safe* for a man to take while TTC. Â I don't believe it would transfer anything to a potential embryo, but it might make getting the job done a bit more challenging.
Â
I hope this helps, and best of luck to you!
