Does any one know of a midwife for a homebirth in or near Elmira, NY?

Im living in Elmira, NY. Im 16wks pregnant due in feb. Ive been looking for a midwife I want to have a home birth but i cant seem to find one near me. Can any one help?

You could try contacting Merideth Geers, her website is www.cnymidwife.com

It might be a little too far for Merideth to travel but she might know of someone else in your area that could do a homebirth. I had a homebirth with Merideth in June but we live in Syracuse. Hope that she's able to help!

I'm in the Heights, so like right around the corner from you. I'm seeing Deb Bissonnette out in Burdett. There's also Kate Finn and Monica Daniels who are both out of Ithaca. I'm also due in Feb, so I can tell you Monica is booked for the month. I contacted her first before I was pointed in Deb's direction. So far I love her and highly highly recommend her.
